I was born and raised in Oklahoma, so I have a soft spot for southern values, quiet towns and mashed potatoes (with lots of butter). If you're here, I hope you like dogs because I'll probably post more than my fair share of photos of my fur-baby, Smokey. I've been engaged to my fiance, Jordan, since my birthday (July 25th of 2012) and will be married on April 6th, 2013 at the Myriad Botanical Gardens in Oklahoma City. Eeee!

I graduated from Oklahoma State University in May of 2012 with a degree in Management and Human Resources. I'm a serial entrepreneur so I'm always finding new things to do for side work where I can have a creative outlet. Digital design is my tried and true passion that I'm always dabbling in in one form or the other. I'm also building a photography business and really love capturing special moments between people who love each other.

I have not one professional photo of my family, and my mother and father passed away in 2010 & 2012. My  mom was one of those who any time there was a camera present would have a hand in front of her face. I don't think we have one nice photo together. So, capturing moments like this, this, this this, and last but not least this really sets me heart on fire. I know these families will cherish these photos forever. My mission is to make sure families understand the importance of capturing these precious moments because tomorrow is never promised.

I've always been a girl's girl, so helping other women build and market their own photography businesses is super fun for me. It's really special to know I have a part in helping women be self-starters, entrepreneurs and stay at home moms.

In the next few months I'll be getting married, buying a home, and starting a new job which means there will likely be lots of decorating, cooking and professional adventures to be shared. Thanks for joining me on this roller-coaster that is life! :)
